I finally broke down and got a new telephoto zoom lens for the digital SLR. It is the Canon 75-300mm USM 1:4-5.6. So, with the Digital Rebel that I’ve got I’m actually looking at equivalent focal lengths of 120-480mm. So far I am quite impressed. The focusing time is amazing, definitely improved over the base model 75-300mm lens.
